Counterbalance Weight Type Anchor
The Counterbalance Weight Type Anchor comprises of a 17kg handbag style weight with covered chain, carbine clip and a ‘U' type bracket to fit up to 34mm diameter back tubes. The FA have issued new guidelines for users of portable goals to assist in the calculation of the weight needed for safe surface anchoring: Calculate the height of crossbar divided by runback length of side frames. Multiply this figure by 112 to obtain the weight in kiograms needed to safely surface anchor the goal.

- Ideal for concrete surfaces, no drilling or preforming necessary as these are freestanding weights
